Beit Zait Reservoir or Maagar Beit Zait in Hebrew, is a lovely place for a walk, picnic or just relaxing in front of a beautiful view. The reservoir is found in the Jerusalem Hills. The best time to visit the reservoir is after the winter rain around February-March. Swimming in the water is prohibited. There is a bike path around the reservoir making this place a good location for beginner bikers.
Further Instructions: Follow the Waze link to the parking lot. From here there is a 1km walk to the lake. Once by the lake there is a paved path that one can walk up and down for about 20-30minutes
