The Colored Sands or חולות צבעוניים is a site found near Yerucham in the South of Israel. The area has an array of beautiful colored desert sands from reds, yellows and oranges, to purples and blues. . Many families bring their kids here to collect sands and make beautiful patterns in glass bottles (dont forget to bring a bottle!). This area also has amazing views and interesting hills to climb. One can also camp here , although there are no facilities, no water or toilets.
This site is not to be confused with the colored sands site in Mitzpe Ramon.
