Har Haruach

Har Haruach, found in the hills of Jerusalem, is a short circular walk of about 1.5km. The spectacular views are what makes this stroll so special. The forest surrounding this hike have been planted by the Jewish National Fund and is called the Polish Jewish Forest. There are lots of shady places for a picnic around Har Haruach. In order to get to Har Haruach, put שחור-הר הרוח into Waze. The drive to the route is through the forest and suits all vehicles. This route can get busy and parking can be a problem, so arrive early if possible! Besides for the start of the route where there are a lot of trees, the rest of the route is not shaded so best suits a sunny winter’s day
