We go at least twice a year to visit Tel Afek (Antipatris) which is one of our favourite national parks, It is located near Rosh Haayin, a 20 minute drive from Tel Aviv . The reasons we love Tel Afek are:
- Great shaded area with lots of trees for picnicking, chilling or barbecuing
- Great natural water pools for young kids to walk in
- Interesting fish to look at
- Interesting remains of a small city that one can explore
- Easy access to all of the above as parking is very close
