Yad Lashiryon, found in Latrun is one of the most diverse Tank Museums in the world. It is also the official memorial site for fallen soldiers from the Armored Corps. It is one of the nicest outdoor museums I have been to and a must for those of you that love tanks. It has a seriously good collection (over 160) of different sizes and styles of armored combat vechiles, many which you can climb onto and explore. There is also a short film about combat for those that are interested. One can happily spend the whole day in this museum. There isn’t much shade around, making this activity more suitable for colder, cloudier days.
