Situated close to Rosh Hanikra in the Western Galilee, Achziv is probably the most popular National Park in the country. Shimmering turqouise seas and sparkling white sands combined with the remains of a biblical city right on the beach, make this National Park one of the most beautiful in the country. Next to one of the bathing beaches is a grassy park which is perfect for camping.
Achziv has both shallow wading pools, deep water pools and lagoons. Something for every age. Besides the bring your own tent camping option, Achziv also has bamboo bunglows (very basic) and glamping options of airconditioned tents right on the beach. Because of its popularity, Achziv is best visited during the week and avoided on festivals and weekends in summer.
