Park Ariel Sharon is divided into 2 parts: Shalem Farm and Hirayeh Recycling Park. Shalem farm is the more popular site for families as it has a couple of really nice playgrounds with slides and climbing structures. This part of the park can also get very busy on the weekend, so if you are planning a visit, go early. Besides the playground, there are also nice grassy areas for sitting, a small lake for bird spotting and a coffe shop (more like a coffee cart) for grabbing something small to eat.
The park is not big but does have some nice paved routes and is stroller friendly. There is a large parking lot next to the park which can get full during the weekend. To get to Shalem Farm put חוות שלם into Waze.
