If you are in the area of Sde Boker, make sure to visit Ein Avdat. It is truly one of the most impressive national parks. Ein Advat has beautiful water pools and a gorgeous waterfall. Unfortunately one is not permitted to enter them.
Ein Avdat is an oasis enjoyed not only by people, but also by animals, namely Ibex and Vultures. Even though it is in the middle of the desert, a large and impressive grove of Euphrates Poplars trees grow in Ein Avdat. The National Park is not big and probably takes an hour from its beginning to its end. It does involve some climbing, and is therefore not stroller friendly.
