Ein Hemed, found 45min drive south from the centre of Israel, is the perfect place for a romantic picnic or a wedding photo shoot. The park is small, no more than 1km in length. Because of the large expanse of lawns, it is also a great place for young kids to run about. Besides a sweet stream running through the park, there is also the remains of a Crusader Village and a Burial Cave to explore. In summer, kids splash in the water in bathing costumes. In winter they can walk through the stream in Wellington boots. I used to think this park was beautiful in the summer, but the autumn is another story altogether .
