Einot Tzukim (also known as Ein Al-Fashka) is a great place to spend a half a day if you are in the area of the Dead Sea. It is located in the Northern part of the Dead Sea, about 30min North of Ein Gedi. This National Park consists of various sizes of swimming and wadling pools. There are also some nice shady areas to have picnics. You can have a barbeque at Einot Tzukim as there is now a designated area in the park to do so. The parking lot is very close to the pools , so one does not need to do alot of walking.
The best time to visit Einot Tzukim is around March or October when it is not so hot, but many visit this site throughout the year. The pools are always refreshing , especially on a hot day.
