Hof Hasharon Nature Reserve, close to the centre of Israel, has wonderful short circular hikes with spectacular views overlooking the Medditeranean Sea. There are a number of routes to choose from in this reserve, but our favourite is the red route. It is about a 2km long, circular hike and suits the whole family. Part of the hike is paved and some of it is walking in sand, so this route is not stroller friendly. There is not much shade during this hike, so it recommended to come on a cloudy day. There are 2 parking lots in this reserve and you can start at either one. This reserve is free and doesnt need booking
