Kibbutz Nir David, located in the Beit Shean valley, is one of the most famous kibbutz lodgings in Israel. The beauty of this kibbutz is it’s setting. It is situated on the Assi, the most beautiful river in the country. The kibbutz has different options for lodging, mostly zimmerim (small wooden huts). Some have been refurbished so make sure to ask for those. One of the best things about this kibbutz is its breakfast, which is served right on the river. The kids will enjoy feeding the fish there. The area of Beit Shean gets extremely hot in the Summer. therefore the best time to visit Nir David is the Autumn or Spring
