One of my favorite activities in Mitzpe Ramon is the promenade or boardwalk hike overlooking the breath-taking crator of Mitzpe Ramon. This short 2km hike has so much to offer including impressive stones to climb, glorious viewpoints and most of all, families of Ibex roaming around. The hike starts from the visitors centre of Mitzpe Ramon, another attraction worth viewing. Stone sculpures made by various artists can be seen on this hike. The best time to visit the promenade is during sunset.
