This museum, found in Petach Tikva, is a wonderful way to spend a few hours. It is called מוזיאון אדם והסביבה in Hebrew and focuses its activity around man, his body and his the enviroment. Not only is it an educational museum, it is also very interactive. The museum is suitable for both younger and older kids. Besides the displays inside the museum itself, there is also an option of a really well presented science show with interesting facts about electricity and newtons laws (at a small extra cost)
Other topics covered in this museum are the human body, movement, healthy living, recycling and other important lifestyle factors. There is also a virtual reality section which my kids loooovvved (also at a small extra cost)
Because this museum is less well known, it is generally less crowded and not particularly expensive
This museum needs advanced booking. Unfortunately it is closed on the weekends but open during school holidays
