Park Nesher in Haifa , a park that covers over 200 dunam, has an attraction that is not for the faint hearted! It is called the Hanging Bridge, and is a 70 meter suspension bridge that hangs over the river bed of Nahal Katia. The bridge sways when walking on it making it an exciting experience. There is more than 1 bridge in the park and one can walk through the park to each one. From the bridges one can take in a breathtaking view of the rest of the forest.
The first bridge can be reached by walking about 15 minutes from the parking lot. Closer to the parking lot, is a small playground for kids and a shaded area for a picnic. The rest of park Nesher is a beautiful forest and one can spend hours exploring it
