Yaar Hamalachim, also known as the Forest of Angels ,is a beautiful forest situated just east of Kiryat Gat. This Forest is cared for by the Jewish National Fund and many trees in this forest were donated by the LA Jewish Community.
If rolling green hills, grazing cows and beautiful blossoms are what you are looking for, then Yaar Hamalachim is a perfect match for you. Across the road from this forest is a grove of Almond trees which come into bloom in the month of February. This forest can be visited all year round, but if you want a magical experience, then wait for February!
