The Hai Bar in the Carmel area of Haifa, is a national park and a nature reserve. It is devoted to the raising of endangered and extinct animals of the region and possible re-introduction of them to the wild. Some of the endangered animals are even bred in this reserve. The Hai Bar is big, 1500 acres, but the attractions and animals are able to be seen by walking. Some animals which one may be able to see in the park include the Persian Fallow Deer, Griffin Vulture, Mountain Gazelle, White Tailed Eagle and Mountain Goats.
